The Mulligans building was originally built in the 1930s as a train station for traveling loggers, and the upstairs was used as a bunk house. Weary travelers could grab a drink of Kentucky moonshine and a hot meal! Today the Demmith family still serves legendary drinks and hot food to people driving the trails.
